Getting here by Bus

The campus is serviced by a number of public bus routes operating at regular intervals providing multiple services to the city centre and surrounding areas. Dublin Bus, GoAhead Ireland and Dualway Coaches all operate a service to Citywest Campus which helps to provide for a great number of options for commuters.

Public Buses

Public transport is excellent with Dublin Bus routes (77A, 65B & 69) serving the campus from the city centre approximately every fifteen minutes. The 65b and the 77a have their terminus located at Citywest.

The Dublin W4 Bus serves 30 Bus Stops departing from The Square, Tallaght
VIA: Cheeverstown Luas Kingswood Road Grange Castle Park Hermitage Clinic Liffey Valley SC Blanchardstown SC.

The Dublin S8 Bus serves 79 Bus Stops departing from Kingswood Avenue
VIA: Citywest Road Magna Drive Tallaght Luas Marley Park Sandyford Luas Stillorgan Road Monkstown Road Dunlaoire Station.

 

GoAhead Ireland is the capitals newest bus company and quickly becoming a familiar site on Dublin’s road. On Sunday 9th Sept 2018 they launched Dublin’s first new bus route in many years, the 175 which operates between Citywest and UCD Belfield Campus. To date they operate 24 routes in the outer Dublin Metropolitan area and are currently planning more.

Goatstown, Dundrum, Rathfarnham, Firhouse, Knocklyon, Tallaght, The Square, Citywest.

From Newbridge (Route 125)
Newbridge, Naas, Johnstown, Citywest (Saggart Cross), Newlands, Crumlin Hospital, Harrington Street, Dawson Street, UCD Belfield.

From Kildare (Route 126)
Rathangan, Kildare Town, Newbridge, Naas, Johnstown, Citywest (Saggart Cross), Newlands, Heuston Station, Connolly Station, DCU Collins Avenue.

Dualway Coaches

Dualway Coaches operates a ‘Village Link’ starting at Newcastle and going to the Square. The service operates Monday to Friday.

From Newcastle (Route 311)
Newcastle, Rathcoole, Saggart, Citywest Hotel, Citywest Shopping Centre, Citywest Campus, Tallaght, The Square .
